Graduated in Art History and with Postgraduate Diplomas in Cultural Heritage Management and Museology, as well as in European Funds and International Cultural Cooperation. Pilar has done internships and professional exchanges at the International Council of Museums, ICOM, France, the Ministry of Culture of Colombia, the Valencian Institute of Modern Art, IVAM, and other European and Latin American cultural institutions.
She worked for the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage in the Training, Communication and Cooperation departments. And for the last 20 years, she is been working on cultural cooperation projects at the Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions.
She has also experience as an expert evaluator for the European Horizon 2020 Programme, and she is member of a research group at the University of Seville, where she prepares her PhD thesis on the links between Culture and Development. She has extensive experience as a lecturer in postgraduate courses.
