Showcase your activities at the University on Youth and Development
News details
Youth engagement requires having the right, the means, the space, and the opportunity to participate in and influence decisions, and to engage in actions. The University on Youth and Development (UYD) offers precisely that.
The UYD, organised by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, is a residential one-week summer university. Its 23rd edition will take place in Mollina, Spain, from 16 to 21 September 2024, around the key topic of #Fortheculture of Human Rights and the Rule of Law.
Your youth organisation or youth-related institution can apply to join the UYD and organise an activity. UYD activities allow you to share knowledge and good practices, plan future actions to empower young people, and design common messages advocating for youth participation.
Each organisation is responsible for funding and managing its own activity (including selecting and bringing its own group of participants on-site). Staff and participants' costs of travel, local transport, room and board must also be covered by the applying organisation.
Complete the submission form by 21 July to propose an activity to showcase your organisation, actions, ideas.
