Argentina and the European Union have been partners for many years and have collaborated in a myriad of sectors. Currently, the two are focusing their efforts on the digital agenda and on the green agenda. Under the Global Gateway Investment Agenda for Argentina, several initiatives and potential investments promote the green transition and renewable energy supply, including infrastructure projects aimed at strengthening electricity transmission. Between 2021 and 2027, EUR 40 million has been earmarked for the cooperation between the EU and Argentina.
In this second podcast episode, we have the opportunity to speak with Ilse Cougé, Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Argentina, about critical raw materials and the Delegation's work in bringing Member States, the Argentinian government, local provinces, companies and investment banks together under a Team Europe approach, while positioning the EU as a trustworthy and strategic partner.
