Following a recent joint European Commission and United Nations Development Programme workshop on formulating and implementing electoral assistance projects, a video is now available online.

The joint event was positively received by participants, who appreciated the variety and breadth of experience amongst the fellow-attendees and the opportunity to develop a common understanding between the two organisations.

“Working on operational issues – operational planning and methodologies – I was looking forward to getting input from all the variety of stakeholders in the group on real implementation issues,” said Electoral Operations and Procurement Advisor, Anne-Sofie Holm Gerhard.

“We have 30 different countries in the group and we have participants from the UNDP side, from the Commission, from the EU delegations and we have a mixture of headquarters and field experiences.”

“So it was an excellent audience to get input from on the real implementation issues,” she said.
