2015 IASC GBV Guidelines Baseline Survey
Discussion details
As you may be aware, the 2015 Inter-agency Standing Committee (IASC) Guidelines for Integrating Gender-based Violence Interventions in Humanitarian Action ("GBV Guidelines") are currently being launched at the global level.
The purpose of this brief survey is to generate baseline data regarding existing levels – prior to roll out of the revised Guidelines – of knowledge, attitude and practices to address SGBV in humanitarian action, amongst a range of practitioners, across all sectors and at all levels. This ANONYMOUS data will be used, over time, to assess the association of the Guidelines with raising awareness about and promoting action to prevent SGBV in humanitarian settings.
The GBV Guidelines Reference Group is disseminating the survey as broadly as possible across all humanitarian response sectors and clusters. I'd therefore like to ask for your help on two points:
1). Please take the survey yourself! It should take no more than 15 minutes at the most
2). Please disseminate the link to the survey to your country and sub-national level colleagues as well as through your own professional networks
You can access the survey directly on the dedicated Guidelines website, www.gbvguidelines.org/survey;
Arabic, French and Spanish versions are also available at the following links:

The survey will close on 20 November 2015.
