The Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report is an editorially independent report, established in 2002, hosted and published by UNESCO. It reports progress on the education targets in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and monitors the implementation of national and international strategies to help hold all partners to account for their commitments. The EU is one of the funders of the GEM Report, helping to bridge the data gap in education.
