Dear Mei and RNSF team,
I hope this email finds you well.
We have well received your request to share the baseline, monitoring and communication plans with you and we would like to apologise for not getting back to you on this matter earlier, but at the moment none of the three documents are completed on our side.
Indeed, the past two months have been focused on the labour market analysis, for which the report should soon be ready. We are currently in the process of designing our baseline and monitoring plan, which should hopefully be ready at the beginning of September.
We hope to be able to share the communication plan by then as well.
Please let us know should you have any questions or suggestions.
Many thanks and regards,
Valentina

Dear Mei,
Thank you for posting the email here, and sorry for the delay in my reply (I was on annual leave).
I am sorry, I hadn't understood that we were expected to post our questions or normal communication here; we will try to better use the blog and group from now on.
I have also completed the survey as required regarding the contact person and status of activities.
As I was explaining in my email above, we were waiting for the results of the market scan analysis before being able to select which courses we would have offered and therefore reach out to youth to enroll. The results of the scan were presented at the beginning of August, while the VSO volunteers involved are still finalising the drafting of the final report.
Roadshows and sensitisation meetings have now taken place in all the targeted areas, with a great response from youth: we have so far received way more applications than we will be able to accept in these first 1-2 batches (up to 800 from a single ward!). The selection criterias have been clearly agreed among all partners and local authorities, who are now in the process of selecting the first batch of students (the latter are the one making the first selection, while interviews with the project team will allow for a second round of verification and eventual corrections). The baseline design is currently being finalised, as is the M&E framework/plan. As soon as the first batch is selected, the first rolling baseline will be conducted (as per project design, the baseline will be done on a rolling basis once student selected by the project team directly). It is expected that the first classes will start in the last week of September/beginning of October.
As far as the communication plan is concerned, the communication officer has recently joined the team and the plan should soon be ready.
Overall, the first three months of the project were planned for staff recruitment and proper set-up of the project, for which activities and actual staff allocation to the project started only from July onwards.
We would appreciate the opportunity to integrate your comments or suggestions on all documents mentioned above, so we hope to be able to share them with you in the coming weeks.
Many thanks and regards,
Valentina
