Every year around the world, millions of people are forced to leave their homes because of floods, windstorms, earthquakes, droughts and other disasters. Climate change is expected to increase the frequency and intensity of such disasters, and slow onset effects of climate change prompting higher levels of displacement worldwide.  Radical action is required of us now to mitigate against the worst effects of climate change.  The Paris agreement presents an opportunity to achieve this.

Representatives from the Advisory Group on Climate Change and Human mobility will in this press conference address the momentum of including human mobility recommendations in the Paris Agreement and Decisions
