The reports​ highlights budget support contri­butions to Sustainable Development Goals, how it was instrumental for countries to face and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and now to cope​ with the devastating global effects of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. Through 38 cases, it shows how it helped prevent further socio-economic set­backs and, despite adverse conditions, made possible to achieve tangible re­form efforts.​
