Call for submissions: Middle East Now film Festival 6th edition

Middle East Now is the only film festival in Italy entirely dedicated to the contemporary Middle East and North Africa. The 6th edition will take place in Florence from 8 to 13 April 2015.

Discover a wide set of databases, resources, news, info-graphics, etc. - on www.medculture.eu - You can also follow up on latest updates via Med Culture social media channels. This group will continue to be used for collaborative purposes (gathering views and ideas, exchanging lessons…) and for the main material of the programme that we would like to keep on the long term. The festival presents an international competition with awards for the “Best Short Film” and the “Best Film - Middle East Now Audience Award".

The “Call for submissions 2015” is now open.

Eligible films: features, documentaries, short and animation films produced in 2013-2014-2015.

Themes covering stories from: Palestine, Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, , Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, Bahrain Afghanistan and Yemen.

The deadline for the film submissions is January 31, 2015
