To mark the FIFA World Cup 2014, the European Commission is launching a campaign on Human Rights in Brazil, "Football has its rules. The World has it rights".

Part of the campaign includes 5 short videos that present the 5 projects implemented in the cities of the final, semi-final, and quarter-final on improving prisoner conditions in Belo Horizonte, the rights of young people in the favelas in Rio, the rights of poor in Sao Paulo, the rights of indigenous peoples in Brasilia and the Brazilian government's fight against sex tourism in Fortaleza. 

The projects are funded by the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR).
