Capacity Building for Climate Mitigation in the Maritime Shipping Industry

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has launched an open process of competitive bidding for the selection of Host Institutions (HIs) in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America and the Pacific to host five Maritime Technology Cooperation Centres (MTCCs), with four-year funding support from the IMO-European Union Project: “Capacity Building for Climate Mitigation in the Maritime Shipping Industry”

Interested HIs are invited to express their interest in hosting the MTCC. The deadline for receipt of Expressions of Interest is 15 May 2016.
