The DO AGRIC, it pays campaign aims to establish public support for a petition encouraging African leaders to invest in agriculture and support small farmers. The campaign highlights the fact that many African government do not invest 10% of the national budget in agriculture, a commitment of the 2003 Maputo Declaration. DO AGRIC, it pays is part of ONE, an international campaigning and advocacy organisation with nearly 6 million members aiming to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa.
