Announces independent Arab monitors network " People" And Sematk - Alternative Film Center, in collaboration with Arte East, opened the door for participation in the second workshop for Arab cinema alternative, and the workshop will be held in Cairo in the period between June 4 to 8, 2015.

Over the course of five days, the participants will follow the sessions and seminars and specialized seminars by guests from the region and the world, as well as the exchange of experiences and participate in discussions centered around: understanding the mechanism of how the film distribution inside and outside the Arab region, how to develop a strategy for programming films with a focus on programming Arabic movies , create and manage movies and archives and archive filming libraries, to identify the models of art spaces projects and lounges cinematic alternative inside and outside the region, and study of future collaborative projects between art spaces participation. And the program of film screenings will be held in parallel with the workshop

Those who wish to participate

First of all: they are involved in the development of one of the film's content and alternative spaces in the region, whether in the field of programming, management or communication and public relations and other related fields   
Second: they have work experience in alternative cinema in the Arab world, or club movies, or cultural entity program offers films in the region
III.: they have the intention to continue to develop content and programming alternative cinema
Fourth: fluent in Arabic, English or French
