EDD 2017: a great success for the PFD!

For the first time, the PFD participated in this year's European Development Days (EDD), Europe’s leading forum on development since 2006.
EDD 2017 promoted this year a new global strategy with a particular emphasis on engaging the private sector as a partner in economic development. This gave the opportunity to the PFD to build a stand in the Global EDD village to showcase the PFD activities and to engage discussions on the extent to which multistakeholder partnerships are effective in advancing the 2030 Agenda.
During the 2 days of event, PFD Members welcomed at the stand more than 100 EDD participants who actively participated to the discussions!

Congratulations to the PFD team for making this first venture at the EDD a success!
Perhaps next year we can aim for an engagement lab so that we can also share the many lessons learned in the PFD's experience at multistiakeholder partnerships!
And thanks to all the task team members who worked at the stand to make it engaging and interesting! Initial results of the survey on multi-stakeholder partnership will appear here soon!
