EDDs 2013 - The Power of Young Voices campaign

On 26th November 2013, the European Development Days hosted an interactive lab session featuring the Power of Young Voices campaign.
The Power of Young Voices campaign is an EU funded initiative launched by the charity Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) in 2006. It gathers over 1200 young disabled people from across the globe who speak out for the rights of disabled people in order to put disability at the heart of international development, especially in the context of the adoption and ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).
Among the speakers of the EDDs interactive lab was Diane Mallari, who campaigns for the rights of people with disabilities in the Philippines.
