EFI seeks a Communication Manager for the EU FLEGT and REDD facilities

The European Forest Institute (EFI) is seeking a Communication Manager to lead the communication activities of the EU FLEGT and REDD facilities, based at EFI’s Barcelona Office.

The Communication Manager will focus on:

• Managing the EFI Barcelona communication team as well as a roster of external consultants.
• Supporting the development and implementation of communication strategies to foster good forest and land-use governance, and create global visibility for the advances achieved.
• Updating, implementing and measuring the EU FLEGT and REDD facilities’ communication strategies and aligning them with the expectations of the donors.
• Providing strategic communication advice to FLEGT partner countries and EU REDD Facility country actions.
• Leading the planning and implementation of content development, editorial and knowledge management processes, including the use of digital tools, for both facilities and among close partners.
• Conceptualising, writing and repurposing content about FLEGT and REDD+, including web content, speeches, publications, briefings, talking points, key messages, presentations, videos, illustrations and other products.
