On March 19th, an event organised by the European Environmental Bureau and the United Nations Environment Programme’s Liaison Office to the EU Institutions saw the launch of the EJOLT Environmental Justice Atlas. This map will serve as a database, aiming to cover ecological distribution conflicts around the world and serving as a communication tool among Environmental Justice Organizations and scientists working on related issues. It will also help to better understand what the determinants of these conflicts are, who the main actors are and bring attention to the struggles for justice.
