1st Project Advisory Committee Meeting of SPRP, Beijing

In the morning of 21 April, the 1^st Project Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting of "EU-China Social Protection Reform Project (SPRP)" was held at the Delegation of the European Union to China. The EU Delegation and Ministry of Commerce of China co-chaired the meeting. Total 37 representatives from the EU Members States, government departments and agencies participated in the meeting, including Italian Institute of Social Security (INPS), FORMEZ P.A. (Italy), Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (Poland), Agency for the Development and Coordination of International Relations (France), Ministry of Employment and Social Security (Spain), National Development and Reform Commission (China), Ministry of Finance (China), Ministry of Civil Affairs (China), Research Office of the State Council (China), National Council for Social Security Fund (China) and All China Federation of Trade Unions, etc..

The PAC meeting reviewed and approved the 2015 implementation plan of the EU-China Social Protection Reform Project. Chinese senior officials presented the opinions and suggestions on the implementation plan and on the project activities and research contents that the corresponding Chinese ministries are involved.  All the participants affirmed the positive meaning of the implementation of the "EU-China Social Protection Reform Project" and placed high expectations on the smooth running of the Project. China National Development and Reform Commission immediately put a notice on their own website on the PAC meeting,
