“EU Climate Policy Explained”, the keys to EU climate action

 “EU Climate Policy Explained” is a new publication that provides you all the keys to understand the EU’s climate policies. This accessible book is of relevance to students, scholars and policymakers alike. The authors have been working on these policies in the European Commission and are sharing insights and knwoledge.

The book differs from existing books in that it covers the EU’s emissions trading system, the energy sector and other economic sectors, including their development in the context of international climate policy.

“EU Climate Policy Explained” shows that there is no single policy instrument that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but the challenge has been to put a jigsaw of policy instruments together that is coherent, delivers emission reductions, and is cost-effective.

The book is available in English, French, Spanish, Chinese and Korean.
