Papua New Guineaβs Managalas Plateau is home to a wild array of unique and threatened creatures, including the peach-plumed Raggiana birds-of-paradise [Paradisea raggiana], some bizarre-looking long-beaked echidnas [Zaglossus attenboroughi], and the largest butterflies on earth [Ornithoptera alexandrae].
