EU Forest Action in SIERRA LEONE 🇸🇱
On 29 August 2024, the Government of Sierra Leone and the European Union signed a landmark Financing Agreement for the "Nature Nourishes" Programme. This agreement represents a significant step forward in the collaborative efforts between the EU and Sierra Leone to promote environmental protection and human development across the nation. In line with the Global Gateway strategy of the EU, “Nature Nourishes” also focusses on providing modern quality education for all children and youth as well enhancing teachers’ competences and skills.
