Forests for Biodiversity, Climate and Peace in Colombia 🇨🇴

Following the presentation of the annual report showing the lowest deforestation figures in the last 23 years in Colombia, the European Union (EU) and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development announced new resources for the fight against deforestation and climate change for nearly 47 billion pesos (10.5 million euros).

The announcement was made during the launch of the programme 'Forests for biodiversity, climate and peace in Colombia', between the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Susana Muhamad, the Ambassador of the European Union in Colombia, Gilles Bertrand, and the Ambassadors of the EU Member States present in the country.
