The European Commission is pleased to co-host the forthcoming Poverty Environment Partnership 19th meeting, from 21-23 May 2014 in eThekwini Municipality, Durban, South Africa. 

The Poverty Environment Partnership (PEP) is an informal network of development agencies, which seeks to improve the coordination of work on poverty reduction and the environment within the framework of internationally agreed principles and processes for sustainable development.

A registration form and draft agenda, containing the background and objectives for the meeting, are both now available, as are a number of useful background documents for further reading.

The meeting's focus this year is: "From Cities to Sustainable Development Goals: Experiences with Green Economy and Climate Change Mainstreaming".

Interpretation will be available in English, French and Spanish.
