Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for accepting my membership in the Europe China Cooperation Group.

I am Prof. Dr. Adel A. Elbaset, Professor of Electrical Engineering at Minia University, Egypt, and currently Dean of the Higher Technological Institute in Beni Suef. I have more than 30 years of academic, research, consulting, and industrial experience in electrical engineering, renewable energy systems, smart grids, energy transition, artificial intelligence applications in power systems, and laboratory accreditation.

I serve as an External Evaluator for the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), Technical Assessor for the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC), and External Auditor for the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE).

My research activities include renewable energy integration, green hydrogen, photovoltaic systems, wind energy, smart grids, energy storage, microgrids, and sustainable energy development. I have authored and co-authored numerous international journal publications and books with Springer and other international publishers.

I look forward to exchanging knowledge, identifying opportunities for EU-China-Africa cooperation, and developing collaborative projects in the fields of sustainable energy, higher education, research innovation, capacity building, and green technologies.
