On the Young Africa Nederland Facebook page I saw an interesting post about your programme for the "Acceleration, Incubation and Mentorship" for a selected group of young people  (through competition) to develop their entrepreneurship qualities. Please share more about this with us. It sounds like an interesting idea to foster interest in vocational and skills training and associated entrepreneurship development.

Can you send us more information on this programme?  It might even be interesting for you to write up the idea and we could post it on the IESF blog.

Thanks

We had young entrepreneurs come to our center which included own own graduates and they spent a day in 3 differenet workshops (Leadership, Life Skills, Business development). They were then asked aftr the workshops if they would like to be considered for the next stage which was acceleration, incubation and mentoring. From 175 young entrepreneurs they went down to 65 after answering several questions that were sent to them on their mobile phones. The next stage was an interview of which they had to selct only 30. From the 30 they further interviewed to come to 15 which they have placed in incubation. The 15 young people had 6 of our graduates. They are now going through 5 week program with training session on Leadership Skills Development, 21st Century Non Cognitive Soft Skills Development, Entrepreneurship Education and incubator. Each young entrepreneur will have a seasoned entrepreneur who will be mentoring them during these 5 weeks.
