Funding: New EU Framework Programme on sustainable development

The European Commission is finalising the preparation of Horizon 2020, a new financial instrument for research and innovation that will run from 2014 to 2020 with about €80 billion budget. It replaces the current Framework Programme 7.

Horizon 2020 will cover various issues, including: climate change, green economy, health, waste, water, eco-innovation, management of natural resources and raw materials. Specific actions will be focused on international cooperation.

The programme will launch a Call for Proposal beginning of 2014 ...so keep your eyes on it!
