GCCA+ Side Event at COP 20: 8th December 2014

The GCCA+ will hold a side event at the 20th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Lima on 8th December 2014 from 15:30 to 17:30 at the EU Pavillon - Room Brussels.

The event "GCCA+: building resilience to climate change in vulnerable countries and promoting dialogue on international climate change policy towards 2015 and beyond" will:

• Provide an overview of the GCCA+ Flagship initiative 2014-2020
• Promote and deepen the understanding of the common African Caribbean Pacific Issue Paper on the Lima Climate Change Conference (COP 20) within the context of the on-going COP20 discussions in Lima;
• Share good practices and lesson learnt developed at national and regional level in ACP regions in climate resilient decision making/planning and capacity building to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
