Ghana will become the second country to issue FLEGT licences

"Ghana makes history!",  reads the proud announcement of the EU Delegation to Ghana. 

From June 30, 2025, Ghana will begin issuing FLEGT licenses, becoming the 1st African country, and 2nd globally to do so! This will promote legal timber trade, combat illegal logging, and ensure good forest governance.
