Global Partnership delves into "how is the how"

The PFD session on Global Partnership for Development Effectiveness was moderated by Lluis Riera, Director of DG DEVCO B. Maria Teresa Nera-Lauron, CPDE Co-chair, led off with an reminder of the need for progress indicators rooted in a human rights based approach and democratic ownership. Panelists Aura Saldana (FLACMA and Mayor of Sabana de la Mar), Arjan Schuthof (Strategic advisor for GPEDC for the Dutch Foreign Ministry), and Luiza Bara (Aid and Development Effectiveness and Financing unito of DEVCO) discussed the role of the Global Partnership for Development Effectiveness in reaching international commitments. Participants highlighted the fact that we have to move to a new paradigm and work with urgency to define how we move forward in a collective space.
