Dear colleagues,

Thank you for the useful list of links, resources and initiatives on humanitarian innovation. If I may add to it, there is also the Global Partnership for Humanitarian Impact and Innovation (GPHI2), which was lauched just a couple of months ago with the aim of bringing together partners from the corporate sector, academia, research institutes, and leading humanitarian actors to promote the development of innovative solutions to humanitarian challenges.

Below is an interesting video from the GPHI2 kick-off event, in which Bill Fischer, Professor of Innovation Management at IMD, discusses innovation responsibility, the importance of partnerships, and the innovation value chain.

Well worth hearing Bill Fischer's interesting 'teaching', thanks for posting: change at the heart of innovation, but make big leaps on the basis of the familiar, so its not only what do you change, but what do you keep.

On innovation: you are never going to get it right; someone has already done it anyway; it doesn't need to be new to the world; you can't do it by yourself.
