ILO - consultations and conference

Dear colleagues,

This post is to share two informations related to our topic:

1. The ILO is currently seeking consultants to support the development of a study about the potential/actual role of social insurance applied to the effects of climate change.

2. We are also looking for consultants to help us locate and compile examples of applications of social protection mechanisms in contexts related to the effects of climate change and the humanitarian/development nexus.

(Please note that those are short-term consultations with immediate availability).

3. ILO is currently organizing a One-week event - the Global Social Protection Week - in November in Geneva. Several sessions will focus on topics related to the Nexus. If you are interested to participate, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
