And what about the impact of social media on policy development? Do you know that in DEV we were the first DG in the Commission to organise social media campaign for further policy elaboration? It will lead now to a new strategy on Pacific. The note is somewhere in Ares (I am at home so I can not check the number), but Pacific Unit was so happy that we helped to organise online campaign, which helped them to identify key stakeholders and researches. It lead to an event, discussions and now the official Pacific communication will be issued. I still remember Ranieri's (the HoU) comment: « how a small research online brought such a result » :) They couldn't believe the power of Internet :)
