International Festival of Exiled Iranian Cinema: Call for films

The International Festival of Exiled Iranian Cinema is calling for films for its 13^th edition to be held from 11-14 June 2015 in Paris. The deadline for registration and sending the copy (DVD) is the 15 March, 2015.

The International Festival of Exiled Iranian Cinema is at its 13^th edition and is  open to filmmakers from all backgrounds and all nationalities. All formats are accepted, and filmmakers are reimbursed as much as possible.


The festival is organised annually by the association "Art en Exil" that is driven by the desire to share the achievements of immigrant writers, actors and directors. The objective is to promote the works of artists living away from their country of origin, and who, through their art, try to express their helplessness, their doubts, their search for identity and their vision of the world.

Music, dance, theatre, storytelling, cinema, photography... are the subject of many artistic events organised by the association. In this way "Art en Exil" aims to connect different cultural sensitivities and to affirm the richness and importance of multiple identities in contemporary societies.
