An introduction to Health Sector Policy Dialogue ahead of the Africa Regional Seminar for Health and Education, Brussels, September 2012

Between September 3rd and 7th 2012, the Africa Regional Seminar for Health and Education will take place in Brussels. EC / EEAS staff members can access the full agenda here.

This seminar aims to provide practical and targeted support to DEVCO/EEAS staff currently working or planning to work in the Health and Education sectors in Africa. The seminar will seek to address the following key question: How can the EU better carry out sector analysis and sector dialogue in health and education? In addition, participants will discuss and become familiar with the implications of the new development policy, including the meaning of the 20% for social sectors.

Ahead of this, Walter Seidel, the Head of Sector, Health at EuropeAid provides an impromptu introduction to Health Sector Policy Dialogue, an issue to be discussed at the Seminar.
