For many of Article 5 countries, HCFC is most widely used in the air-conditioner sector. For the manufacturing sector, some challenges remain in terms of technology choices, specifically finding long-term, sustainable solutions. There is also a need for servicing sector to prepare for HCFC phase-out, including the handling of flammable alternatives to HCFCs.
