Created 25 May 2016

COP22 is the first global climate conference organized after the adoption in December 2015 of the historic Paris Agreement, which aims at limiting global warming. The agreement is open for signature from 22 April 2016 to 21 April 2017 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Midway through the signature period, COP22 will allow taking stock of Parties’ political engagement and financial commitments, as well as concrete actions conducted since COP21, including those related to climate change-induced human mobility.
