Short job description: 

FPI.3 is seeking to hire an International Relations Officer - Rapid Response Manager for Europe and Central Asia, with a specific focus on the thematic areas of countering disinformation and promoting foresight. The work involves coordination with Commission line DGs and the EEAS on EU policies and their projection abroad. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic, friendly and motivated team with a strong emphasis on collaboration. The position will consist in contributing to the development and management of timely, robust and well-grounded EU responses to top foreign policy priorities, crises and conflicts in third countries, in particular under the Crisis and Foreign Policy Needs components of NDICI Global Europe’s Rapid Response Pillar. Geographically the selected candidate will focus on the Europe and Central Asia region with an initial focus on Western Balkans and Turkey, while, thematically, the position will focus on countering disinformation and promoting foresight capabilities, including the coordination and quality management of related activities and working closely with other EU services and international actors.
