Joint Consultation Paper: Towards a new European Neighbourhood Policy

The EU has published a Consultation on 4 March 2015 to frame the discussion about the adjustment of the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). Partners from Neighbourhood countries and stakeholders across the EU are invited to take part in the dialogue presenting their own viewpoints. The questions raised in this document seek to explore how the ENP can become a more effective vehicle for promoting both the EU’s interests and those of its partners.

For example, one question is whether the current geographical scope should be maintained? Another one is how the EU can do more to support sustainable economic and social development in the ENP partner countries?
