Meeting with the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development

On Monday,March 4, the project positioning of forest governance in Colombia (initiative funded by the European Union) are invited to participate in the regional forum about Bamboo. Event that will be headed by the Minister of Environment and Territorial Development, Dr Juan Gabriel Uribe.

The meeting's goal is to present to the Minister all aspects, both technical and legal, economic and social, involved in the process of development, mobilization, processing and marketing of Bamboo.

The project plans to exhibit at the meeting the achievements in terms of regulations, voluntary forest certification for bamboo and sustainable resource management. Also, show the scope of the funded projects PPGFC predecessors as BOSQUES FLEGT, Guadua GTZ, among others.
