New and updated GIS data

New and updated GIS data is available from the Working group pages / Processed GIS data page.

The collection of currently available GIS data contains socio-economic data layers (e.g. administrative areas, boundaries and names, data of population density, populated places, network infrastructure, African coverage of map of accessibility, map of international Diesel prices in 2008 and 2010, modeled data of estimated electricity production cost calculated for a 15kWp off-grid PV system) and physical geographical data layers (e.g. Digital Elevation Model, river network, land cover).
