New Project of the Month: Visionary Africa: Art at Work
Discussion details
In May we will launch a new feature on the platform: Project of the Month. The first project showcased will be Visionary Africa: Art at Work, which is a series of travelling exhibitions shown in public spaces in African capital cities. Conceived through a partnership between the European Commission and BOZAR (the Belgian Centre for Fine Arts), it promotes the role of art and architecture at the service of inclusive and sustainable urban development in African cities.
The project was also showcased last week at the 24th UN Habitat Governing Council Meeting, in Nairobi, Kenya. For more information please visit the event page in this group.
The project functionality is one of the tools available in working groups that can be used either for project management or for showcasing successes and previous work. For more information and help on creating, or if you would like your project featured as Project of the Month, then please contact the Coordination Team.

The map was custom-made by a graphic designer, to reflect simply and only the overall geographical distribution of the project on the African continent. Perhaps Kampala's dot was placed far up to avoid drowning in the invisible but very large Lake Victoria? :) But thank you for noticing its slight misplacement indeed.
J’espère que c’est ok,
Bien à vous,
