Nominations for the International CSP Today Awards open

The International CSP Today Awards are granted to companies that excel in the industry and truly deserve an award for their contribution towards pushing CSP further down the competitive route. This event is organised every year in conjunction with the CSP Today Sevilla Summit, which will take place on the 29-30 of November with over 700 attendees from around the world.
The nominations will be open to the industry until the 25th November, and sent to a panel of industry experts and veterans for the selection of three finalists per category. The jury is composed by representatives from CIEMAT, CENER, Protermosolar, ESTELA, DLR, NREL, Eliasol Energy, BigSolar Strategic Consulting, University of Sevilla and Kearney & Associates.
Companies who have previously won include: Torresol Energy, Siemens, Skyfuel, ACS Cobra and Schubert & Salzer, among others.

Categories for 2011 include:
General Awards
- CSP commercialised technology innovation of the year
- Increased dispatchability solution of the year
- Emerging markets achievement in 2010-2011
- Newcomer of the year
Specialized Awards
- CSP technology supplier of the year
- CSP engineering firm of the year
- Most effective CSP project development of the year
- EPC contractor of the year
An additional special award will be granted by the jury to recognize the achievement of an individual who has dedicated his/her life to further the industry.
The CSP Today Awards finalists will be announced by the end of October and the winner will be revealed at the event itself.
