Online training to become a Land-use Planner facilitator

At the European Forest Institute we have developed an online training course as part of our Land-use Planner tool, a freely accessible instrument for anyone interested in participatory land-use planning.

The self-paced training will give you all the information you need to get started. It will take you from setting up your account and workspace, to creating your first scenario and seeing the results of different land-use decisions. You will learn how to use the Land-use Planner to foster stakeholder participation and negotiation in planning processes.

Once you have gone through the five modules of the training, you can obtain a Certificate of Completion. You can also showcase your completed Land-use Planner project to the EFI Land-use Planner team and other users in a virtual session. This will allow you to obtain Land-use Planner Facilitator Certificate. French and Spanish language versions of the training are coming soon.

Also, the community forum can help you to solve issues, discuss new ideas and connect with other professionals around the world who are interested in land-use facilitation.
