Operational plans are being implemented

Significant advances made ​​were evident after technical support visits by representatives of the project, teams of some corporate partners Forest Governance initiative which supports the European Union and coordinated by the Carder in Colombia.

Against these visits it was found that the Regional Autonomous Corporation of the Cauca, CRC, has results that are close to 70% of consolidated general, progress in implementing the strategy, and the wildlife Committee. Also trained staff and technicians of the entity in terms of the implementation of the products generated by the project.

Emphasis was placed on the support to implement the strategy of social participation with indigenous communities of Cauca boot, and the joint between the CRC and the community to implement the timber cubing guide in different forest harvesting processes.

Regarding the technical visit to the Autonomous Regional Corporation of the valle of Cauca, CVC, was fulfilled with the seventh day of training, which is taking up issues of control and monitoring protocol for forest companies and management plans and forestry of bamboo.
