Post 2015 and SGDs: nourishing people, nurturing the planet
Discussion details
The July issue (no. 6) of FAO’s e-bulletin on the post-2015 development agenda, Post 2015 and SGDs: nourishing people, nurturing the planet, features a new report by the Rome-based UN agencies estimating the investments needed to achieve zero hunger by 2030. The spotlight falls on the Third International Conference on Financing for Development in Ethiopia, where the Addis Ababa Action Agenda was recently adopted. Two articles are dedicated to indicators, including FAO’s proposals for monitoring the post-2015 agenda, and a Q&A with Indian economist Vikas Rawal. The e-bulletin brings the latest developments in the post-2015 process, including discussion on the zero draft of the outcome document. Finally, in a special focus on sustainable agriculture, Ren Wang of the FAO explains how to produce more with less.
