Bringing together some 200 participants (government representatives, parliamentarians, farmers and agricultural producers, investors and representatives from regional organisations, international agencies, research institutes, NGOs, etc.), the Bamako meeting highlighted a large diversity of viewpoints on opportunities and risks related to land transactions.
