Project "LATIn - Iniciativa Latinoamericana de Libros de Texto Abiertos" (video)

This project includes 9 Universities from Latin America and 3 Universities from Europe. It is funded by the EU under the ALFA III programme.

The main objective of the LATin project (https://www.proyectolatin.org) is to address the problem of the high cost of textbooks in Higher Education in Latin America and generate content for different contexts, cultures and languages within Latin America. The main action of the project is the creation and dissemination of the Latin-American initiative of Open Text Book at the Higher Education level, namely through 3 components: adoption strategies, collaboration methodologies and collaborative writing platforms.
