RE Off-Grid Explorer: Visualization of Electrification Scenarios until 2030

I would like to share with you the "Renewable Energy Off-Grid Explorer", which allows for a scenario analysis for 52 countries (incl. many African states) regarding the energy mix to achieve universal access by 2030. The “Renewable Energy Off-Grid Explorer” and the accompanying report have been developed in the framework of the project “Strategies for Renewable Energy for Climate Protection in Developing Countries”. It has been financed by the Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and the German Development Agency (GIZ). The presented scenarios are meant to support informed policy and planning decisions but do not represent official planning.
