Report: Dialogue and follow-up of the European Union-America and the Caribbean partnership, 17 September 2024

As part of the ongoing dialogue with civil society and local authorities in the Policy Forum on Development (PFD), the European Commission held a hybrid meeting on 17 September 2024. The event brought together staff from the European Union (EU) and more than 100 representatives of civil society organisations (CSOs) and local authorities (LAs) from the EU and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) (95 participants online and 12 face-to-face). At the meeting, the EU provided an update on: 1) the follow-up to the 2023 EU-CELAC Summit and the 2023-2025 roadmap agreed by both regions; 2) the launch of the EU-LAC Global Gateway Investment Agenda; and (3) the implementation of the EU Multiannual Regional Indicative Programme (RMIP) for the Americas and the Caribbean (LAC) 2021-2027, and dialogued with participants on these issues
